Born out of a project funded by Arts Council England in 2008 for Ange Taggart to undertake research and development to work with inclusion activist and writer Maresa MacKeith. Out of this Ange met Steve Loader, they set up PARKING IS AN OBSTRUCTION and then worked with Maresa to make performances and deliver presentations in the UK.

Ange Taggart

Nottingham based Ange Taggart is best known for cheeky live-art actions. But she has worked behind the scenes for many years in childcare, diversifying her practice to include family support and community work. In 1997 jumped ship to study performance and visual arts at Nottingham Trent University, graduating in 2000. Ange works with Maresa and young people supporting and developing inclusion initiatives.
Maresa MacKeith

Maresa is a co founder of a young peoples inclusion collective, One-For-All. As an adult with no speech Maresa is passionate about social justice for young people who can’t talk and she currently leads HobNobs, an inclusion initiative for teenagers who talk or not. Maresa published her first book in 2011 ‘Taking The Time’.
Steve Loader
-Collaborator on the 2009/10 3-2-1 residencies, Sheffield-based Steve Loader is a socially-engaged creative artist, professional theatre performer and clown and a graduate of the London International School of Performing Arts.
